YouTube Hall of Fame
The Script - "Hall Of Fame" Lyricscome per come
My virgin foray onto the Internet happened at in the morning. This was back in the spring of '96 -- I was returning home from a night out drinking during which a college friend had casually mentioned exchanging e-mails with another of our friends at work. Wait, e-mails? What the hell are those? You guys can communicate through text instantaneously? Hearing the whole thing explained, I almost felt like the Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer.

Like most unicorns, YouTube isn't perfect. Its comment sections are famously noxious , its algorithms proliferate conspiracy theories , its filters fail to protect kids' feeds , and its ad-revenue-sharing model props up problematic vloggers. But it also has hydraulic press videos. And a dude lip-syncing TGIF theme songs while sitting on the toilet. For better or for worse, YouTube is the ultimate time-waster, the place you go when you literally have to watch the Howard Dean scream right now and the place you remain an hour later after the rabbit hole you descended eventually spat you out on an '80s video dating montage. Sometimes, if enough people deem a particular video undeniably watchable all at once, it becomes a phenomenon with the cultural cachet to demand that you take notice and catalog it as a historical event.
i just got a thought. i love that we get to feature small YouTube channels on here, but what if we started a YouTube Hall of Fame for the big YouTubers? we could.

That's an interesting idea. I had a similar thought, and maybe for the featured video and YouTuber thought we could have a voting where anyone can offer a YouTuber or you cout vote for one alread said. I like this idea too, but I don't know how good an idea it is to slit up the YouTubers in smaller groups, small and big. Maybe, instead of calling it "Featured Channel", we could think of a name for the small channel, like "Undiscovered YouTuber". And, maybe for the channels in between, we could think of a third name, and have a tab system in the "Featured Channel" box where users can click through all three.
When it comes to the annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, there are some cheers, some tears, some profanities, some interesting fashion choices It is a music hall of fame, after all; It wouldn't quite work if at some point the inductees and their pals didn't pick up instruments and do what got them into the shrine in the first place. And that's been going on at Rock Hall ceremonies since , from righteously shambolic early-year jam sessions to more polished and scripted performances as the ceremony has become a televised event. There have been almost too many to count, and it depends on what you actually call a performance yes, Mike Love, we will be talking about YOU here. Nina Simone was inducted in , and it was charged to Ms. Lauryn Hill, Andra Day and the Roots to demonstrate, musically, why she fit.
