Discovering art, science, mystery and nature. In the Sicilian capital, one of the most beautiful cities in the Mediterranean. All this in five weekends, starting today. In fact, from 29 September to 29 October, will be held the edition Le vie dei Tesori in Palermo , one of the greatest, important and anticipated cultural events of the year. One way to define Palermo: a great and inestimable treasure made of churches, museums, historic gardens, villas, archives, orators, monuments, palaces and archaeological sites. During the event, more than seats will be open to the public and more than tours and itineraries will allow to visitors to admire the beauty of the city. The program is full of events: there are also shows, concerts, meetings, itineraries between art galleries, events specially designed for children and the great night of UNESCO sites.
In addition to Palermo , the Le Vie dei Tesori includes Siracusa, Messina , Agrigento , and Caltanissetta , so anyone visiting Sicily this autumn might enjoy this program. Thanks Vagabonda, and it's a great idea to start posting earlier about it next year. Plus, next year Palermo will host Manifesta for those who don't know it, one of the most important contemporary art biennals in Europe , hosted each time in a different place , so there will be a lot to prepare for in Palermo. I also hope to see some of the closed hidden gems with Vie dei Tesori, although I have to skip it again this year. As you can see from some of these posts, many have already begun to research and plans holidays for next year. For those who plan early, it would be useful to know what's happening in Palermo so they can plan accordingly.
Le Vie dei Tesori is a festival that lasts 8 weekends, from September 13th.

I guess these range in cost from 1 for 2 euro to 10 for 10 euros. Just wondering, is this specifically for tours only, or can I use one of the tickets to just enter the attraction and spend more than 20 minutes in there. I also couldn't find on the website on how to purchase tickets. Would it be as easy as buying the pack of 5 or 10 tickets at any of the locations that are participating in the program? Here's the link to that thread for anyone interested in more detailed information about this year's Le Vie dei Tesori.
