My name is Sergio and I have gained, after many years of working in the sector, love and dedication to hospitality in traditional structures such as tourist holiday villages and hotels of important dimensions situated in well-known touristic resorts both in Italy and abroad. Due to this long-standing professionality the idea has been created of giving hospitality in the warmth of my home which I share with my wife. A bed and breakfast set-up emphasizes the simplicity of thistype of structurehighlysuitable for those who want to unite the comodity of a board and lodging to the warm hospitality in a house. This type of accomodation is certainly not a new one. Prior to the 20th Century, travellers usually found board and lodging for the night in private houses rather than in inns and this custom was carried out in many parts of the world.
Pets and small pets are not allowed dog, cat, etc. The accommodation is located near the ski slopes and ski resorts. The accommodation is located near mountains and hills. Looking forward to reviews on Residence La Corte! Conosci Residence La Corte? Share your experience!

Rock art has been detected all across the territory of Camonica Valley, the longest valley of the Brescia district, scoured by the Oglio River: over rock art sites have been documented to date, totalling some engraved rocks sandstones and conglomerates , distributed among 24 out of 41 Valley municipalities. The engravings were made over a time span of more than 13, years, dating from the late Upper Palaeolithic to the end of the first millennium BCE, when the great cycle of Camunian art comes to a stop. The pratice of engraving rocks, however, carries on even after the Roman conquest of the Valley, extending into medieval and modern times. But beside rock art, Camonica Valley contains other landmarks of historical, archaeological and artistic importance, reminders of its past. From the Middle Ages stand out numerous castles such as the ones of Gorzone in Darfo Boario Terme, of Breno, Lozio, Cimbergo and the historical centres of many towns of the Valley, which follow precisely the medieval town-planning patterns.

The church of St. Clemente is cited in the bishop documents at least since the 11th century. In front of the building, toward the valley, one can still see the remains of an ancient xenodochium, possibly used as a trading post by the imperial messengers. It was suggested that the dedication to St. Clemente, who was condemned to exile at the marble mines of Cherson on the Black Sea, may be linked to the presence of the marble quarry of Borom, just above the site where the church was put up. The bell tower of Romanesque style was built in several phases, identifiable by the shape and the layout of the stones: the ones up to the first twin lanc et windows are square and bigger, the ones on the upper cell are smaller and rectangular, pointing to the fact that the second level was built in a later period. The church, restored in the 16th century, as shown by the date placed above the architrave of the entrance door, is made of two bodies, not perfectly aligned, so that the axis of the nave comes out slightly slanted with respect to the apse.
